My work has moved on from an interest in purely abstract themes to one that attempts to reconcile abstraction with natural and organic forms. The earlier purist has conceded that the visual and imaginative net has to be cast far wider. Perhaps the move to rural Norfolk has played its part in this reorientation.
The titles of the works now share diverse narrative concepts and often, though not always, find their starting points in themes observed not far from my front door.
