I listen to daily world events, documentaries and personal stories.  I read many books, fictional, biographical and academic.  I walk and talk with friends and discuss many interesting ideas, influences and opinions.  The information that inspires me will be followed up with research and further understanding.  Snippets of these renditions surface from my subconscious and intentionally or randomly feed my visual artwork.

My recent work begins with biblical allegories and parables (for me, mythological and symbolic) juxta positioned with highly publicised events of migration, misogyny, patriarchy and earthly chaos.

My African upbringing is always present.  My process begins with random marks which, over time, will speak to me and become a complete work.  I enjoy hearing what viewers see or feel about my work.
