Tracy Satchwill

In the studio.jpg

Tracy creates bold and playful worlds and narratives using digital technologies, working in digital collage, AR, film, and animation, exploring historical and contemporary perceptions. Accused witches, hysterical suffragettes and frustrated housewives are some of her themes.

As well as her personal projects, she also responds to sites, narratives and archives for museum and heritage projects, working with Ipswich Museum, North Lincolnshire Museum and National Trust.

Recently, Tracy has been drawn to mixed media, drawing with ink; gouache; watercolours; oil pastels; fine liners; and coloured pencils, exploring how to bring some of these, as well as pattern and surreal elements into her digital work.
