My work is both questioning and responding to my lived experience.
I explore and experiment through multimedia: layering hand drawn animation, video, green screen, text, and performance to create images, installation, video projection, artefacts and performance. The form arises from the research and the toolbox of media I have at hand.
My development has been a process of embodiment: I began by making images, then making them move, then putting myself into them and responding to them, performing with them as a way of being totally present in the work.
My work has a rhythm between solo projects and collaborative work: both important and frequently overlapping.
